Salty Dog

 

The Salty Dog is one of my favorite cocktails. I’m a sucker for grapefruit anything. On a hot day or a warm summer night, it’s super refreshing with a bite when you add a salted rim and your favorite vodka.

Essentials

LEMON WEDGE

SEA SALT

2 OUNCES VODKA

4-6 OUNCES GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

Directions

  1. Rub the rim of a chilled highball glass with the lemon wedge and dip to coat with sea salt.

  2. Fill the glass with ice, pour in the vodka and grapefruit juice, and stir.

  3. Squeeze lemon wedge over the drink and drop it in.
