Milo

 

Chocolate milk just met its match with this delicious drink, made by Nestlé and originally created in Australia. Milo is packed with vitamins and minerals, and I double this recipe so there's enough for everyone.

1/3 CUP MILO POWDER

1-1/2 CUP WHOLE MILK

2 TABLESPOONS CANE SUGAR

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add milk and simmer; do not boil.

  2. Once small bubbles form around edges, remove from heat.

  3. In a small glass beaker or pitcher (gravy separator), add Milo and sugar; stir to combine.

  4. Pour warm milk over dry ingredients; stir until dissolved.

  5. Pour Milo over ice and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Milo powder over the top.

  6. Serve with a straw.
