Midnight Margarita

 

At one point in time, I couldn’t resist a frozen margarita. One of my favorite movies includes a scene in which they make Midnight Margaritas and dance around the kitchen. While I no longer drink, this recipe is pretty solid; highly recommend if you’re a marg lover.

1 LIME WEDGE

SEA SALT

1-1/2 OUNCES PREMIUM SILVER TEQUILA

1-1/2 OUNCES FRESH LIME JUICE

1 OUNCE COINTREAU

Directions

  1. Rub the rim of a chilled margarita glass with the lime wedge and salt the rim; fill with ice.

  2. Add the tequila, lime juice, and cointreau to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

  3. Strain into the prepared glass.
